Position Overview:
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all on-site activities related to pre-engineered building construction projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong leader with exceptional organizational and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall planning, scheduling, and execution of pre-engineered building construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and supervise all on-site activities, including subcontractor management, material procurement, and equipment deployment.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and take corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
- Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of project plans and specifications.
- Manage and motivate the on-site construction team, including foremen, contractors, and laborers, to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as architects, engineers, consultants, and clients, to address project-related queries or concerns.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, work schedules, change orders, and safety records.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
- Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure adherence to the allocated budget.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, budget, and issues to the project manager or senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Project Manager in the pre-engineered building construction industry.
- Thorough knowledge of construction processes, building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire on-site personnel to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
